Jaded

Ladies and gentlemen, I know what is wrong with me (refer to previous entry).

I just finished--for the simple pleasure of it--reviewing Kierkegaard's three stages of individual growth. Somewhere in the aesthetic individual's conception of life, I realized that I belong in that category (of course, at a completely different level not pertaining to Hedonism or materialism) of aesthetics.

I read a line that said--to the effect of--that in regards to the intellectual, once everything has been analyzed and found void of meaning, there is no longer any reason to continue living.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have found the problem. Of course, I do not call myself an intellectual, but rather, a jaded individual.
